New Project: Repreve Recycle Rally

You know that feeling when a freelance project goes smoothly, the project is fun, and everyone works well together? I FINALLY DO! I worked with From Somebody Else on the R3 Recycle Rally website and it went wonderfully, if I do say so myself (and this is my website so myself do say so…myself).

Repreve is a company that takes plastic bottles and recycles them into Repreve fiber to make clothing and other great products. The Repreve Recycle Rally encourages schools to enter the contests, recycle the most plastic bottles, and win tickets for their ENTIRE SCHOOL to see Marvel Universe LIVE! When I was in school, I totally would have gotten down with this recycling challenge, after helping old ladies cross the street and rescuing kittens from trees, of course.

The guys at From Somebody Else were a dream to work with, and really made the freelancing experience a pleasure, which is not something I can say for every project (seriously. I’m a huge complainer). It was so fun working on this project and I think it turned out wonderfully. While the website wasn’t necessarily text heavy, it was fun polishing the tone and finalizing the language to make sure the contest was understood, and the rules and regulations clear. It’s clean, fun, and effective web design. Done and done!
