I will be the first to admit – I’m lazy. I find dried food stuck to my inadequately washed dishes and my clothes are often folded and put away whilst still damp. I rush to finish projects so they are off my mind. I was lucky in school to be smart enough to get by on very little work. You may be saying to yourself, “Nicole, I am lazy too! How do you maintain a blog when you’re so very, very lazy?”
The truth is, chronic laziness is CURED by a blog. If you make time to write a little bit once a day, or even once a week, your blog (and your noggin) will benefit. Update your Google Reader account and catch up on what other bloggers are writing about. Set aside time each week that you commit soley to your blog and online marketing efforts. Before long, you’ll look forward to your blogging efforts and marketing time. Who knows, you may find yourself taking extra time to park further away from the burger joint you’re going to for dinner, or actually clean up your dog’s poop on the sidewalk. I’m just kidding, nobody REALLY does that.
